The Nomad is an intuitive and stable lightwind and downwind crossover board with effortless gliding capabilities. Perfect for catching long drawn out waves, downwinding, or getting up on the foil in the lightest wind with your wing.
With its optimized length and width, the Nomad features a parallel outline, volume distributed for flight, and a forward foil position that will allow you to keep the same stance as you paddle for take-off, and get up on the foil.
The deck has a gentle concave and lovely thin gently textured corduroy pad, the same as last year. The foil box position is notably far forward on the board, and long, allowing you to balance plenty of different foil systems quickly. It also meant you didn’t need to shuffle up and down the board too much to move between building speed in flotation and takeoff to foiling. This is an important feature on a longer, narrower board to allow the best fore-to-aft weight ratio and not load either your front or rear foot with excess pressure. The boards retain that flat rear planing surface from last year which promotes a nice clean release and takeoff; the tail seems to have been chiseled slightly in the newer version and perhaps the angle of the chine is kept straighter at the rear. The volume distribution is very even throughout the board, making it extremely stable considering its narrower width.
As a downwind board, these subtle shape revisions – extra length and narrower – make it feel more efficient through the water than the previous version, and far more purposeful for the discipline, and as a bonus there doesn’t seem to be much compromise on stability.
In a wing context, these efficiency attributes carry over into a super fun full floatation board for lighter conditions. Instead of sizing up to a six or seven meter wing in marginal conditions, you could hop on this with a 5m and probably have plenty of entertaining fun with a more comfortable wing to handle, particularly in some small clean waves.

Kite-wing-shop.com does not cover any fees related to import (incl. taxes, fees, etc.) for international deliveries
RETURNS
- Every return requires our pre-approval. Please inform us BEFORE you return any products.
- Based on its circumstance we decide if a refund or credit will be provided.
- SALE or special order items are strictly non-refundable. They might be eligible, if qualified, to be exchanged for a same-valued item or store credit.
- At any time your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, will be assessed and can be returned to its sender at their own cost.
Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery shall be subject to a 30% restocking fee
Any item returned after 30 days cannot be accepted.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
